RUFF AND TUMBLE! HILARIOUS PHOTOS AND VIDEO SHOW DOGS MAKING LIGHT WORK OF TREAT CATCHING GAME - AND THE ONES WHO NEED MORE PRACTICE
These funny pictures show excited dogs pulling hilarious facial expressions as they try to catch a treat - and the ones who need a bit more practice.
For some of the dogs the game is a no-brainer, and with mouths open wide they make light work of the tasty morsels.
But for others it is an altogether different story, and with eyes boggled and mouths closed the snack sails by.
In one of the pictures a whippet-type dog looks positively maniacal and multiple treats head her way.
After catching one, as if in celebration the pampered pooch throws her head back in glee, failing to notice that other food items are also heading towards her.
In another image a boxer-type dog looks on with a comical blank expression as the snack flies in his direction.
The images were taken by pet photographer Beth Alexander, who raised money for charity with the fun project in Ontario, Canada.
Beth uses a converted cargo trailer as her studio, and parks up at the homes of her subjects, a process which she says ensures that the pup feels as relaxed as possible.
She said: "These shoots are super fun. Some dogs are better than others at catching treats but it's always fun.
"To get the pictures I give the fur baby some time to get settled in, smell around and get comfortable with the space.
"Because we are at their home the pet feels less stressed and more comfortable."
