Julian Assange is an Australian journalist and founder of Wikileaks. In 2010, Wikileaks published a series of leaks including correspondence and videos from military files. The files were supplied by the U.S. Army intelligence analyst Chelsea Manning. Since Assange's arrest in 2019, he has been incarcerated in Belmarsh Prison in London. Today on the 24th Jan 2022, following the Royal Courts of Justice’s decision, Julian Assange has been granted approval to file an appeal at the Supreme Court.
