A man wearing black jeans and a blue jacket was caught by a home owner's doorbell camera trying to force his way into the property before finally being arrested.

He can be seen on the footage smashing items outside the door before vandalising vehicles parked in front of the house.

In an explicable rage, he breaks the view mirrors and throws them away before running a metal item along the paintwork of one vehicle, all the while making no attempt to get away quickly.

His inexplicable lack of urgency cost him dearly however, as the cops soon showed up and arrested him.
