People around the world have taken to the streets in solidarity with Ukraine, condemning Russia after it launched an invasion against its neighbor on Thursday and urging governments to take stronger action.

The video shows Ukrainian citizens living in Peru and Peruvians gathering outside the Russian embassy in Peru to protest the war that has started between Russia and Ukraine. With flags, posters and chants against Russia and President Vladimir Putin, they made sure that their protest voices were heard in the capital of Peru.

"Against the aggressor country that started the war in Ukraine and is killing civilians, Ukrainian soldiers, wants to take our land by killing people. Now people are suffering. We join the protest to stop their aggression because today it is Ukraine and tomorrow it can be your country."

I am a citizen of Kyiv, the capital, and with this non-declaration of war that prevents my country from carrying out a military operation, it is a lie, it is a war proclaimed against my country. It is not fair that people are fighting for freedom and life, that they are threatened by this crazy dictator. My country is free, it has always been free. Putin out of my country! And stop killing innocent people!"
