A beautiful beach with a hidden sand walkway leads to another island in southern Thailand.

The 2km underwater sand path emerges during low tide and allows visitors to walk from Koh Yao Noi Island towards the uninhabited Koh Phlong Island in Phang Nga province.

The unseen attraction is called the 'Dragon’s back dune of Phlong island' and visitors can hire a long tail boat to take them there from the pier.

Tour guides piloting the boats must check the times of tides to ensure they choose the right time to visit the sand walkway, where they can pose for pictures in front of the spectacular scenery.

Aerial drone footage taken on March 1 shows tourists enjoying the beautiful natural scenery.
