An example of how a tiny ice formation phenomenon is created.
This morning the temperature was minus 3c and this basin of water had frozen over apart from this little funnel of ice. As the cold water is freezing and expanding below it pushes up through this funnel and freezes around the edges. I think they are fascinating and very pretty.
