Ambassador Cruises' new ship Ambience departs Thames on maiden voyage off Kent, UK
New cruise ship company Ambassador Cruises - the first British cruise line to launch in more than a decade - celebrated the maiden voyage of their first ship which is named Ambience this evening (April 20).
The new ship was seen departing the Thames from Sheerness in Kent, UK at 7pm after having left Tilbury, Essex for Hamburg.
The 14-storey ship has capacity for up to 1,400 guests, and boasts 798 cabins and is targeted at over-50s.
