History in the baking: Robot pizza-maker draws huge queues for free slices in Paris
A pizza restaurant celebrated the World Day of Creativity and Innovation by giving away 200 free pizzas served by a robot on Thursday 21 April.
The mechanical pizzaiolo -- and the possibility of free food no doubt -- drew huge queues of people to the Pazzi restaurant in the French capital's 3rd arrondissement area.
The customers who made it to the front of the line in time to claim their tasty prize were able to order the pizza of their choice from the restaurant's latest menu, created by three-time World Pizza Champion Thierry Graffagnino.
It is the first pizzeria with a robot in Paris.
