One miss and it's over: Brave bus driver navigates hair-raising mountain path in Nepal
An intrepid traveller captured heart-stopping footage of a bus journey along a narrow mountain path on the way to Melamchigaon in Helambu region of Nepal.
Melamchigaon is the gateway to Ama Yangri Peak (3,771m) and Thadepati (3,690m) as well as the Langtang Himalayan Range. Helambu is around 75km (47 miles) from Kathmandu Valley.
The filmer's group was there because they wanted to hike Ama Yangri Peak, Malamchigaon and Thadepati.
The terrifying footage was filmed on the way to Ama Yangri on 22 February.
The filmer said it was "thrilling and Heart shivering because of the altitude, steep, narrow hills and off-road one way track."
"When you watch out the window from the bus that you are riding, you can feel that the trail is very steep," they added. "But it was a great opportunity to explore the thrilling bus ride, hidden culture, and nature of Helambu region."
