A 1000 square metre fresco honouring Josephine Baker unveiled at Paris Pantheon
A 1000 metre square fresco in homage to famed dancer and civil rights activist Josephine Baker is unveiled at the Pantheon in Paris.
The artwork's unveiling was attended by her son Brian Bouillon-Baker, the artist Gwendoline Finaz de Villaine and the mayor of the 5th arrondissement of Paris, Florence Berthout.
A performance by the dancer Yaman Okur was also performed on the tarpaulin, which temporarily served as a stage.
