Sheerness Clock Tower which is painted green as seen in the daytime - has by a very clever trick of lighting effects - been turned BLUE after dark, turning its colours red, white and blue to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee weekend.

The 120-year-old clock tower was restored for the jubilee by Smith of Derby at a cost of £160,000.

Footage captured this evening (June 4) shows the blue lighting effect, followed by footage showing the actual green colour the clock tower is painted captured Wednesday (June 1).
