Footage of rescuers using sonar devices from a boat while searching for a person who reportedly went missing on the River Thames.

The video, captured Saturday near Chertsey, shows workers from Surrey Fire and Rescue searching an area of the river.

According to local reports a body has since been found in the Thames at Laleham.

Emergency services were called to the area and conducted an extensive search operation after bystanders reported concern for the safety of a man in the water.
