Video message from Agnes Callamard, Amnesty International Secretary General.
01:03:17 - 01:16:00
Ruhat Sena Akşener, Acting Director of Amnesty International in Turkey:
"We have gathered to announce that Amnesty International has declared those arrested in the Gezi Trial, which has been going on for years, as "prisoners of thought".
01:32:10 - 02:01:41
Attorney Kerem Dikmen, Chairman of Amnesty International Turkey Branch:
"I also spoke to Can Atalay. Can describes this case as the "Dreyfus case of modern times" and believes in the importance of emphasizing it. He determined that the case was purely political and that the sentence given as a result of the trial itself did not bear any effect on it. He also specifically states that it is given with an approach that is not limited to the norm of law."
02:07:30 - 02:19:03
Tarık Beyhan, Amnesty International Turkey Branch Campaigns and Communications Director:
"As long as the 7 people arrested in the Gezi Trial are not released, we will continue to campaign. We will continue to talk about this issue all over the world. Our 10 million supporters will also raise their voices on this issue."
