Glamorous Thai mum turns heads working as 'world's most beautiful street sweeper'
A glamorous mum-of-one turns heads working as 'the world's most beautiful street sweeper'.
Pattarapon Tocharoen, 26, said passersby often look at her seemingly confused when they see her cleaning and emptying bins in Bangkok, Thailand.
She even makes videos of herself at work for her 122,000 online followers. Some of them have dubbed her 'the world's most beautiful street sweeper'.
And despite men online 'offering her a better life', she is determined to carry on with the job she loves.
Pattarapon said: 'Men always tell me that I'm too beautiful to do this work and they want to rescue me, but I'm happy doing what I do. I like being independent.'
The hardworking single mum takes home under 300 GBP a month for toiling all day under the tropical sun as temperatures reach 35 degrees Celsius.
Despite the dirty tasks that her job required, the pretty trash collector always wears her make-up, paints her nails and ties back her hair in a pony tail.
Pattarapon said she does not care about the perceptions of her work as long as she can earn enough to provide for her family.
She said: ‘I chose to work as a street sweeper and garbage collector because of the security and benefits.
'My family is in the same line of work. I do it because it's simple, and I don't have much to worry about.'
Because of her pretty face, the rubbish collector would sometimes meet people on the streets who knew her after seeing her pictures online.
Pattarapon said: ‘Meeting different people is fun. People who know me from social media or work would come up and greet me. Many would call out to me while waiting at the traffic light. It feels like I have many friends.'
