1) Amira is returning back to the house after playing in the yard. She always stands up right before she’s about to hit the ramp up on the deck.
2) Amira is 10 years old and we’ve had her for a year.
3) This took place outside of our house in Montreal Quebec
4) This is a daily occurrence, every time we carry her outside, this is how she heads back in.
5) She was born without legs and although she does have a wheelchair, she lived on the streets without legs for 9 years so she’s really comfortable walking on her nubs or standing upright and walking on two legs.
6) She is the most incredible and resilient dog who loves and trust everyone she meets. She was shot in the head during her time on the streets, but has never let that, or her missing legs, deter her from doing anything, or from living her best life.

We adopted our dog, Amira, after she was born without front legs and lived for 9 years on the streets of Thailand. She was found after being shot in the head, and after being rescued and treated for her devastating injury, we adopted her and brought her to Montreal. She’s just the most incredible dog and we couldn’t love her more.
