A suspected thief was caught in the early hours of Thursday 18 August, trying his luck with a parked taxi cab in Stretford, Manchester.

The black cab was parked outside the owner's home and their Ring home-cam caught the masked man trying the door handle, in case it was unlocked. Fortunately it was not.

It is the second time this vehicle has been targeted by what appears to be the same man.

The first time was in April but that time unfortunately the door was left unlocked and items were taken.

Video of that incident was also captured on camera and uploaded to Newsflare.

This type of taxi vehicle is known in the UK as a 'black cab' though they need not actually be black in colour to be known as such.

It is the early hours in the morning and a suspect is seen on Ring camera video trying a black cab taxi door handle that is parked on the owners drive.

Luckily the door was locked. This is the second time this vehicle has been targeted by this man. The first time was back in April but that time unfortunately the door was left unlocked and items were taken.
