Perseid meteor shower timelapse long exposure 8-12-2015
This somewhat flickery time lapse shows about 4 hours of the 2015 Perseid meteor shower, recorded in Santa Clarita, California on the night of 8-11-2015 / 8-12-2015 using a Canon 5D Mk2 with 17mm f/4.0L wide angle lens and 15-second exposures at ISO 4000. Several large meteor streaks appear as well as numerous small ones. Satellites and aircraft passing through the frame are also visible in this view.
