My wife and I decided to go for a walk after supper for excersize but also to get some ice cream(ha ha). The weather was warm on this fall day and we knew the walk would do us some good. We crossed the street away from our apartment and my wife saw movement in the yard of someone's place at the seniors complex. She thought they were puppies at first but I followed her line of vision and knew right away these were not housepets. I had my phone out in an instant and started recording. The Lynx and her cubs didn't seem interested or threatened by us at all as they made their way across the yard and then out of sight again. After that we talked about how lucky it was to see such elusive creatures cross our path especially in the middle of a buzzing city of a million people. Just goes to show you never know what amazing and wild things can happen when you go outside!
