During a Guns N' Roses concert in Montevideo, Uruguay, this superfan capitalized on the moment in the South American capital by proposing to his girlfriend during their favourite song, "Sweet Child O'Mine."

The sweet moment of theirs happened on Sunday (October 2) with the crowd nearby being as jubilant for the happy couple as they were.

Facundo Florit captured the emotional moment and managed to get in touch with the newly engaged couple.

Cecilia Araújo, 32, and Robert González, 47, talked through their "perfect" proposal that they both describe as an "unforgettable moment."

Araújo said, "a very exciting moment, very special, and well, I loved the proposal, the recital, everything," as she showed her new ring off to the camera.

González then explained his thinking behind the proposal: "We wanted to see the band, it's been a lifetime since we wanted to go see them live, and the possibility arose when they came to Uruguay.

"As the days went by, we were raising emotions and I decided to make this a madness of love. We talked with my first cousin Alicia and she thought the proposal was perfect. We chose that theme because we really like the lyrics.

"And it means a lot of beautiful things and well everything happened there, at one point the emotion was so great that it couldn't even be recorded properly because when I said, 'this is the moment, it's now', my cousin started crying and she got emotional, faster than I and Cecilia looked at us and said 'what's up? what's up?'

The 32-year-old added: "I didn't understand anything, and I said 'what's wrong?' I was with the adrenaline of the recital and I didn't understand anything, I thought I had missed something until I looked up and saw the rings, him with the rings excited and well, it was exciting, exciting, everything exciting!"

González went on to talk about the crowd's reaction to their sweet moment: "It was also more exciting to see her face and to see the audience that was close by how they hugged us, how they congratulated us, how they gave us kisses."

The couple then spoke about how they'll get married to the same song.
