General Election 2022 in Rembau, Malaysia

All candidates who are expected to contest in the Rembau Parliamentary seat in the 15th General Election (GE15) entered the grounds of the Dewan Seri Rembau Candidate Nomination Center here.
Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidate who is also a youth figure, Jufitri Joha was the first to arrive with supporters of his candidacy at about 8.25am, followed by the candidate representing Parti Pejuang Tanahair (Pejuang), Ramly Awalludin five minutes later.
Parti Sosialis Malaysia (PSM) which came forward with its candidate, S. Tinagaran, arrived at 8.50am.
The chosen candidate from Barisan Nasional (BN) who is also UMNO Deputy President, Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan entered the nomination center two minutes later. Mohd. Nazree Mohd. Yunus from Perikatan Nasional (PN), also arrived at exactly 9 am.
There are a total of 133,641 registered voters in the Rembau Parliament, comprising Malay voters of 73.62 percent, Indians, 15.9 percent, and Chinese voters of 8.76 percent.
