Thousands lose power after Jeep crashes into power pole in Atascocita, Texas overnight
In the early hours of Sunday November 20 a Jeep knocked out power for thousands when it crashed into a power pole in Atascocita, Texas.
The crash happened at the corner of Will Clayton Pkwy and Cascade House in front of the Woodland Pines subdivision. The vehicle finally came to a stop in a ditch.
In a notification sent to customers just before 4am, Centerpoint stated there were about 4,989 customers without power in the area.
It is not yet known what caused the crash.
