Texas man shot by neighbor in front of his own family, home
This is the shocking security camera footage showing how Joe McIntire, a man from Palmer, Texas, was shot in front of his own family and home, by his neighbor on December 4.
The video shows Joe's 9-year-old son, Weston, running back inside and crying after his father was shot near his left biceps.
Joe survived the scary incident and shared his story with Newsflare.
"My dog took off when my son took him to potty. I jumped in my truck and hurried to get him. Then the guy comes to my house hollering. So I confront him on the situation, and as I come around my car, he shoots me, three inches away from my heart -- over me speeding in a hurry to get my dog. The man was arrested. He just bonded out of jail. He's a convicted felon with priors. I don't know how he got out. We are all very scared. He lives four houses down. He came to my house with a loaded rifle and all with every intent to shoot me and possibly kill me in my own front yard, in front of my kids. This day will change my and my family's lives for good. I got a second chance, I'll tell you that much. I just hope I'll heal up and be able up to provide for my family again. That's my main concern."
The video, which also shows Joe's wounds, has three million views on TikTok as of December 9.
