Croats gave their football players a memorable reception, 80,000 people gathered in Zagreb
The Croatian football team returned to their homeland after an excellent performance at the World Cup, and a spectacular welcome was organized for them in Zagreb.
At the World Cup in Qatar, the Flames achieved a new spectacular success, confirming once again that they are the superpower of world football, winning third place.
Quite deservedly, a reception was organized in Zagreb the day after the victory over Morocco in the fight for the bronze medal at the review of the best selections in the world.
The fact that the reception of the footballers was organized at the same time as the World Cup grand final did not prevent tens of thousands of fans from showing up.
Although it was announced just after 5 p.m., the Croatian football players were late with the transport from the airport to Trg bana Jelačića, but when they appeared at the planned location, a general frenzy ensued.
The Croatian football players took a bus to Trg ban Jelačić, and a long column followed close behind them. They appeared on the square only at 19:30.
According to reports, as many as 80,000 fans showed up at the reception.
Numerous songs were sung, torches were lit and fireworks were set off, so the Croats sent impressive photos to the world.
