Adorable moment camel galloped and jumped for joy at seeing snow for the first time
A camel galloped and jumped for joy at seeing snow for the first time.
Albert moved to his new home at Rancho Grande in Ojai, Southern California, USA, in June and had enjoyed a hot summer.
It seems the one-humped mammal was not expecting to see snow after temperatures plummeted earlier this month.
An adorable video shows the creature leaping and skipping in the snow, apparently loving it.
He can also be seen mingling with the ranch's goats as they all go on a wintry walk led by the six-month-old camel.
Richard Murad, 62, who lives on the ranch with his family, said: "We woke up to snow and you could see he
was really excited and happy to be playing in the snow - like a baby!"
"We put him in the barn at night and during day he walks around and has some apples and dates and then walks around the ranch all day."
"He ran to the goats who were huddled in the barn as they don’t like to get to wet but he somehow got them to
them to follow him up for a walk."
"We purchased Albert from a veterinarian in July when he was four weeks old."
"He was unable to properly feed from his mum. He's a very special animal and we have over 400 animals."
"I think he’s a human being in there somehow, he’s so curious."
