Footage shows the marine creature swimming close to the tourists so they could help him take the trash off his body in Phang Nga province on January 15.
One of the drivers Atikom Chaisuan said: ‘The animal appeared out of nowhere maybe to come and ask for help.
‘We help pull the net out. I hope people would be more aware of their trash so this could be avoided.'
