This is funny moment a mum tried to sneak out of bed without waking up her clingy baby - only to be foiled at the last moment.

Caitlin, 35, gave birth to Seoidin nine months ago and the young baby has been a bad napper ever since.

"She's a bad napper. She'll only sleep if I'm with her," said Caitlin, from County Mayo, Ireland."

"It's funny, because I'm getting all these comments saying what I should be doing, but it doesn't work, this baby just wants to be in my arms."

A video show Caitlin trying her best not to wake up Seoidin, but seconds after leaving the bed Seoidin is seen lifting her head, to Caitlin's despair.

Caitlin added: "She's a clingy baby. My other children were easier, but Seoidin just wants to be with me all the time."

"She's a very funny baby. She's just started standing up. She just laughs at her siblings, once they start to move around and make noises their personalities begin to shine."

"It's sweet that she wants to be with me. It does make things hard to do, but you just pivot, you find ways to work around it."
