Tension at RMT rally as member of public rails against unions

Tensions flared at a rally held by unions near Downing Street, London on Monday night (January 16) when a man making anti-union comments with a mic and PA was struck by a man wielding a placard. The man then began shoving the trade unionist.

Unions including the RMT were protesting against proposed anti-strike legislation.

"A member of public is assaulted at National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers rally when attempting to ask Secretary-General Mick Lynch a question," Newsflare's filmer said. "RMT organisers soon surround individual."
