On April 29, the annual May Day Rally and Parade took place in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Thousands of Trade Union members from different sectors gathered in Writers' Square to demand better working conditions and fair pay.

The participants marched to Belfast City Hall, where Mick Lynch, the General Secretary of the National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers (RMT), addressed the crowd.

Lynch emphasized the importance of having local politicians back in government to make positive changes in workers' lives.

The event came in the wake of a recent strike by all five teaching unions over a pay dispute. The rally highlighted the ongoing challenges faced by workers in various industries in Northern Ireland.
