Dramatic footage taken with a drone on Monday (January 17) shows snowfall hitting Causeway Coast and Glens, Northern Ireland.

"This is Binevenagh on the north coast covered in a fresh blanket of snow with scud clouds blowing across the summit and snow curtains falling over the distance ocean which made for a very dramatic scene, this was the only aerial footage I got all day, it snowed again for hours after this!" the filmer said.

First winter blast from the arctic across N. Ireland/UK today with severe weather warnings and non stop snow showers, so many I never got a break to get the drone in the air, that is until a brief break in the snow showers before sunset gave me a 15 min window to get my new drone in the air.
