Rampaging students riot in Pakistan school 'over religious disagreement'
This is the astonishing moment rampaging students vandalized their school during protests 'over a religious disagreement' in Pakistan.
Shocking footage shows pupils from the Peshawar Model Degree College, a private school in Peshawar city, rioting through the corridors and hurling chairs and furniture into the courtyard on February 3.
They smashed windows and attacked schoolbuses before police arrived to control the miscreants.
Some students were reported to be wounded.
Local media citing the college administration said the protest erupted 'after an argument over some sectarian issues'.
Religious activists and youths who were not part of the school are also said to have joined the violence.
In a statement, the college said: 'If any student or staff member was found involved in triggering the violence, they will be expelled from the college.'
Police said they were still investigating those involved in the rally and what sparked the violence.
