A first-class national cultural relic bronze lifting pot of the Warring States Period is displayed at Xuanhua Museum in Zhangjiakou, North China's Hebei province, Feb 9, 2023.
It is understood that this bronze pot of Warring States was found in a tomb of the Warring States Period in Xuanhua District in 2000. When unearthed, it was well sealed. Also extracted from it was 1,580.4 grams of liquid containing ethanol, which is the "Warring States liquor" dating back 2,300 years. As a typical artifact of the Warring States period, this bronze lifting pot is of great value for the study of funeral rites, wine-making techniques and productivity levels at that time. It was identified as a national first-class cultural relic in 2010.
