A family’s home CCTV caught the moment a six-year-old mistook a delivery driver for his dad and called him ‘butt cheeks’ over the speaker. 

Dan Bose, 43, caught his son's funny fail on a CCTV camera by his front door in Essex. 

Whilst he was out the house, Dan’s family were playing a card game when his four-year-old daughter Marcie was caught cheating by hiding cards. 

Trying to stop the tot, mother Frankie asked her to ‘take them out your butt cheeks’, when the front doorbell rang. 

Thinking it was Dan, his son, Hugo, ran to the speaker and answered the bell by saying ‘hey butt cheeks’ but unbeknown to him, the person at the door was actually a delivery driver. 

Realising his mistake, Hugo apologised and told his mother as the delivery driver joked about them not receiving their package. 

Dan uploaded the video online where it amassed over 8.4 million views. 

Dan said: “It was embarrassing but very funny. 

“People loved the video with many people sharing their own stories of mistaking someone for a family member.”
