India Income tax officials raid BBC offices in New Delhi after critical Modi documentary

The BBC's offices Delhi based (Hindustan Times House) has been raided by India's income tax department on February 14.

Footage shows the scene outside the broadcasting company's office in Delhi. There national media tv channels has cover all activities there.

According to reports, documents were seized as well as journalists' laptops and phones.

The raids come after the BBC released a documentary titled “India: The Modi Question” that investigated Prime Minister Narendra Modi‘s role in the Gujarat riots in 2002, when he was the state’s chief minister.
