Man uses lion dancers to help propose to partner during Chinese New Year celebrations
This amusing clip starts with a tremendous lion dance being performed at a Lunar New Year party. All of a sudden, the performers pause their act and pop out scrolls that read, "JASMIN - Will You Marry Me?"
The camera then pans to an exhilarated Jasmin, who was enjoying the event with her boyfriend, Matthew Lee.
And that's when Matthew goes down on one knee, asks his lady love if she'd do the honour of becoming his wife, and gets a "yes" which earns them applause from the rest of the attendees.
"This was a surprise proposal that I planned for my little sister’s boyfriend," the filmer, Chanel Phan said.
"It took place at a family party to celebrate the Lunar New Year as well as my aunt’s 70th birthday. Our whole family was present and had no idea it was going to happen."
This footage was filmed in Dallas, Texas, on February 4.
