France: Pension Reform Strikes Intensify, More Than 360,000 People Join Marches
Nationwide pension reform protests continued on Saturday, March 11. According to reports, about 368,000 people joined the marches. In Rennes, clashes between demonstrators and police erupted. Security forces deployed tear gas and so on.
However, despite the ongoing rallies, the French senate approved the bill on Saturday evening.
