A resident claimed he captured a UFO hovering over his village in Thailand.

Nuttawoot Saejeng said he first noticed the tiny black speck in the sky in Chiang Mai province, Thailand on February 20 but thought it was only a tent or balloon.

But when he saw it again the next day, the local was convinced he was seeing something else.

Footage shows the mysterious dot floating in the air on a cloudy day. Nuttawat took zoomed-in photos of the object which turned out to look like a black wok with a lid.

He said: ‘I was even joking about aliens when I first saw it. When I woke up the next day, I looked up at the sky, and there it was again.

‘I was so confused about what it was. It can't be a balloon, a tent, or an umbrella, because how can it happen two days in a row? It must be something else.'

Officials have not yet confirmed what the flying object was, and remains unidentified.
