A tiny crescent moon appears above the Ramadan lights in London's West End
A tiny crescent moon was spotted above the twinkling Ramadan lights during dusk in London (March 25).
Ramadan begins with the first sighting of the crescent moon or 'hilal', which this year in Europe, was on Wednesday.
The day after, Muslims commence daily fasting from dawn till sunset, during a time of personal reflection, kindness and charity.
The pretty installation is made up of 30,000 sustainable lights and was funded through generous public donations.
