Police officers were forced to enter an angry crowd of people in order to make arrests at a protest in support of de-proscription of direct action group Palestine Action (September 6).

Groups of police officers held onto one another as they made their way into the crowd as protesters shouted, 'Shame on you' and 'Get a real f*cking job.

It was estimated that 1,000 participants would hold handwritten signs bearing the words, 'I oppose genocide. I support Palestine Action', and as of the 5th July the organisation was banned and became a designated terrorist group.
