Elizabeth line trains cancelled after fire erupts on tracks at Maidenhead station
The Elizabeth line has been partially suspended after a fire erupted on the tracks at Maidenhead station on March 29.
The blaze caused severe delays and cancellations during rush hour in the morning.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Slough, Maidenhead and Windsor fire stations were sent to the scene.
"Upon arrival, crews discovered an electrical fire alongside the railway. Using a dry powder hose reel, firefighters extinguished the fire. Crews remain at the scene of the incident."
