Close Call: Truck Brake Checks Suddenly Allowing No Time for Other Vehicles to Move
ATLANTA, GEORGIA - MARCH 13: POV footage from a motorcyclist captures a truck executing a sudden brake check and almost causing a collision between two vehicles behind him in Atlanta, Georgia, USA on March 13, 2023. The video clearly shows that the brake check was unexpected and could have resulted in a severe accident. To prevent any untoward incident, the motorcyclist promptly shifted to the left lane, out of harm's way. According to sources, the SUV behind the motorcyclist proceeded ahead and the driver yelled obscenities at the truck driver responsible for the near-miss. Although there were no injuries or fatalities, this incident serves as a reminder that drivers must act with greater care and caution on the road to prevent accidents.
