Man uses smoke to harvest honey from a giant beehive on a tree
Video captured the moment of a man using smoke to harvest honey from a giant beehive on a tree in Long An, Vietnam on March 13.
The man is a professional bee-hunter who uses smoke in moderation to harvest honey and preserve the hive for future harvests.
The man said this is the third time he has harvested this hive. He did not use dense smoke and fire because he wanted to prevent the bees from being damaged and disintegrated.
He used just enough smoke to avoid the attack of the bees and quickly gathered the honey and left afterward.
The bees continued to stay in the hive when the man left.
