This storm chaser captured multiple mighty bolts of lightning strike buildings in Batesville, a city located in the state of Indiana.

Storm chaser Ashton Lemley, 32, with North Mississippi Storm Chasers, witnessed a natural phenomenon that occurs when an electric charge builds up in the atmosphere, beautiful but extremely dangerous. 

Ashton captured the moment multiple lightning strikes hit a building, causing sparks to erupt from the impact.

Lightning strikes are a relatively common occurrence in the United States, with an estimated 25 million strikes each year. 

While most strikes occur in open fields, lightning can also strike buildings, trees, and other objects, which is the case in the footage.
