On April 24th, 2023, an earthquake hit Padang, Indonesia, causing panic. @mr_onerio and his family were staying at a hotel in the area when the earthquake struck. They were only able to leave the building after the earthquake had subsided. The exit routes were congested and chaotic, making it difficult to find a way out. The author tried to run with Lupi, but they were unable to escape. Instead, he told Lipi and his mother to hide under a table until the shaking stopped.

During the earthquake, an early tsunami warning was issued, prompting residents to head north or east to avoid the coast. Fortunately, the author and his family were able to make it to safety.
