SAK DATO TEMPLE, MALAYSIA – TALLEST MONKEY GOD STATUE IN THE WORLD

Catering to Broga’s predominantly Chinese population, Sak Dato is a Taoist/Buddhist temple with over 140 years of history. What started off as a small cave shrine built by early Chinese settlers has since transformed into a beautiful place of worship, with soaring pavilions and a star attraction: a 20.68-metre-tall Sun Wukong (Monkey God) statue, accessible via a suspension bridge.
It is the highest Monkey King Statue in Malaysia Record Book and world tallest Monkey King Statue too.
