Animal lovers and their furry friends enjoyed their day out as they attended the annual Pet Expo in Thailand.

Pet owners and their fur babies were treated to various fun-filled activities as they gathered at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre in Bangkok for the annual Pet Expo Thailand on May 5.

Footage shows dogs and cats of different breeds and sizes making new friends while accompanying their owners for the event.

There were athletic contests, meets with pet product brand ambassadors, and photo ops with online-famous pet influencers.

Some 300 booths also opened selling an array of pet products including food, medicines, supplements, grooming items, toys, clothes, and accessories.

This year's expo ran from April 4 to 7.
