Life can feel worthwhile when you have a purpose, even if that purpose is as lighthearted as building a snowman bigger than any other snowman in the world.

In this amusing footage, Chris Constant shows viewers one of his neighbors' marvelous works on his snowman.

"I always remembered seeing this giant snowman being built across from our backyard," Chris told WooGlobe. "On my way to and from school, I would keep seeing this man with a shovel full of snow in one hand climb up a 40+ foot ladder as he tried to build snow up there."

In addition to showing viewers the enormous snowman, the video also documents its regression over several months until it ultimately melted away.
