Karma! Bungling burglar face-plants during ram raid on salon in Australia
During a ram raid on a salon in Adelaide, Australia, one bungling burglar had a taste of karma after tripping and face-planting.
CCTV at Jaggered Edge Hair, a salon in a suburb north of the city, shows the moment a group of criminals drove a vehicle through the front of the shop.
After knocking down the doors, a couple of burglars made their way inside and began taking anything they could get their hands on.
Jill Hickey, the salon's owner, told Newsflare: "Once inside one went straight for tubes of bright red colour.
"Maybe his girlfriend is a hairdresser?" she joked.
"While the other wondered about lost maybe looking for money. While leaving he walked past the Dyson hairdryers, the girlfriend would not have walked past them, he spotted the desk and ripped out the open, empty till which still had the key in it."
Whilst exiting the crime scene (1:52 in the video), one of the criminals tripped over the smashed glass door and face-planted. He dropped a box of shampoo he was carrying.
Hickey added: "The police were called, they have not caught them yet. I am still waiting for the shopfront to be repaired.
"It's hard to say exactly what they were doing or looking for, I have watched all the videos a hundred times and still have no idea!"
This incident occurred on April 14.
