A queue of hungry motorists became stuck after a Tesla broke down in a McDonald's drive-thru in Ottawa, Canada.

TikTok user @lisamajor1053 filmed as they were held up in the fast food restaurant's drive-thru.

She told Newsflare: "I was in Stittsville and wanted a coffee, Tim Hortons was busy so I decided to grab one from McDonald’s.

"All good until the driver of the Tesla and the person at the second window seemed to be having an issue. The guy at the window kept saying you have to pick up your order inside.

"Then I heard the guy in the window say that it won’t start."

The McDonald's employees eventually managed to push the broken-down electric vehicle out of the way.

This clip was filmed on May 7.
