A severe storm in Ufa, Russia on 29th May, 2023, wreaked havoc in the Sosny residential complex as a ventilation duct from a high-rise building was demolished, resulting in a parked car being crushed under the debris. The alarming incident was captured on surveillance cameras, and images circulated on social media showing the extent of the damage. Fortunately, the Ufa Civil Protection Department confirmed that there were no casualties as a result of the incident.

In response to the incident, representatives from the Office of Civil Protection of Ufa and the administration of the Leninsky district swiftly arrived at the scene to assess the situation. Their primary objective is to determine the causes and circumstances that led to the ventilation duct's collapse.
