Bear-ly Escaped: Local Authorities Released Bear That Was Trapped In Backseat Of Car

Authorities were alerted to the danger of a bear that was trapped inside a vehicle, when the owners discovered the beast locked inside the car.
The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Incline patrol were able to arrive at the location in South Lake Tahoe, California and attempt to release the bear safely on May 30th.
One of the officers was able to utilise a piece of rope, tying it to the door handle and then retreating to a safe distance before yanking on the rope, opening the door.
The bear tentatively exited the vehicle and ran away, nearly catching the rope in the process.
